05/14/08 i'm pretty excited about this little video i just made...

05/12/08 recent work has included a slew of posters, a banner, and tickets for UMBC's recent "Israel @ 60" week, in addition to a poster for SEB's JUNO screening, and tickets for a dance recital. i've also recently completed a MySpace design for a book, Paul Evancoe's "Own The Night." school ends soon, and i'm trying to figure out where to live, as i'm moving out of the house/off-campus. intense! excited for the summer, though i still need to figure out where i'm working.

04/03/08 school has been super busy, between coursework and work work. i recently did a ton of stuff for UMBC's Chess Week (check "Special Projects"), some event flyers, and a bit of personal work and work for friends, too. i've also booked Double Dagger and Thank You for a show at UMBC on april 11th (it's free and open to the public!) and UMBC's quadmania is coming up, which means everyone is freaking out all the time. busy busy busy and the semester is over in five weeks, too. it's kind of crazy to think about, actually, so i'm not going to think about it. oh yeah, the site design and gallery mechanism have been redone, and there's a bunch of new content.

02/28/08 since the last update: urban outfitters mentioned me in an email they sent out which is super neat. thanks, dudes! i've redesigned the website for the UMBC gameroom, using images designed by the talented andy hsu. i've also done a variety of flyers for campus events, a bunch of images/collages for myUMBC (UMBC's campus web-portal), a UMBC SEB blog, as well as posters for two radio shows. coursework has included an ongoing eyewear-themed calendar project, some in-class webpage assignments, and the beginnings of some fun new-media projects. oh, and i learned how to do coil and perfectbound book binding, so i'm pretty excited to make some books or something.

oh yeah, and you can see me standing behind diplo in this month's issue of blender magazine. look for the really awkward face.

01/26/2008 returned to dc on friday, returning to baltimore for school tomorrow. winter break was full of adventure and fun thanks to a whirlwind two week trip. i am so jetlagged. starting my new job at UMBC's commonvision on monday morning.

12/18/2007 the semester is officially over! my book and brochure were completed, finals were taken, papers were written, blah blah done and done. DJing was cool, the VISUAL+AID show was really really neat. tonight was my first night without the pressure of classwork, so you know, i worked on personal projects that had been neglected, specifically, my radio show, AWKWARD AWESOME's website.

11/29/2007 just classwork these days, including a full-color book called "people i know," and a typography brochure that i haven't been working on at all. if you're on the UMBC campus, come to commonvision's VISUAL+AID show (12/12 5-7PM @ the cabaret), i'll have some work on display. come to RSA's midnight breakfast on 11/11 too, DJ Joe Wezlo and I are gonna spin some fresh beatz. rad, espcially since my radio show, "awkward awesome," is done until next semester.

11/08/2007 school is still my best friend, and by best friend, i mean killing me. that being said, i've updated the "web," "print," and "identity" pages to include a few school-related websites, a bunch flyers, and the logo for a new campus zine project i'm working on with my roommate and some of our friends. it's going to be great, maybe.

10/10/2007 school is my bestfriendforever. launched visual art council of majors @ umbc website a few days ago, more event flyers (got to do a sticker which we printed today for some alternative marketing of an upcoming event, pretty neat!), more class work/personal work (i like to make my class work personal so that i don't hate it), and umm, little things here and there but for the most part it's all about school and nice times and friends and work. my birthday is soon, you should definitely send me lots of money.

9/18/2007 life is very much hectic right now, unfortunately. UMBC Student Events Board site launched tonight, did two event flyers today as well as some design work for class. Urban Outfitters is planning on printing a t-shirt design I did for their slogan t-shirt contest, not sure when that will hit stores though.

9/7/2007 back to school = back to cool. website redesign for art council of majors (launching soon), in addition to a pin design created and manufactured on the spot at the UMBC involvement fest this past wednesday. UMBC SEB website redesign coming soon as well.

8/21/2007 SHERVINFOTO.COM now online. more slight changes to the layout and my logo, but i'm done now, i promise. in personal news, i go back to school on wednesday. see you soon, baltimore!
