Rachel Brown is a NYC-based singer-songwriter who approached me about working together on a website. She had a lot of ideas for how she wanted to be represented visually, and our separate styles meshed together to create an intimate "keepsake" aesthetic for her site.

We started with a temporary site and mailing-list campaign, trading downloads of her song "Bumblebee" in exchange for email addresses, which we collected for her mailing list. Over the next little while we developed her keepsake style, using letters Rachel sent me from her own typewriter. It was important to be both organic and lovely, and I think we found a perfect balance.
