well, i must say, maria, charlotte, and I are really quite pleased and surprised. yesterday we hit 1000 hits. and for those who don't think that's a big deal, it is, especially given that it is all "just for lolz" and, you know, we didn't think it would last past the night it went up.

We here at SQHUNT06 would like to apologize for the complete lack of lolz in the last few days. I've been making an effort not to post for a little bit.

Anyway, like Maria said, we have a couple SQHUNT06 buttons. They're cute. Ask Maria or Charlotte or myself for one. Just ask. No I'm not charging. That's gross.

So it's now 11 days until the DC Warped tour, and we've got some fun shit lined up for that day. Expect video and audio and good shit from the show. Even though they are apparently not letting in audio or video recording stuff. Oh wellz. Maria can stick a camera in her boobz.

We don't have a list, or anything, but we're going to basically look for good hair. Maria has been trying to find out which *notable* scene queens will be there. So she sends me a MySpace link, and I was like "OHMYGOD!" because not only did I know her, but I was there when one of her MySpace pictures was taken. Like, literally two feet behind the camera. It was "very 'LOL.'" Anyway, so we'll see her, and Audrey and Zui (yay because I like them a lot, and P.S. I have since learned how to say Zui's name), and some others. I'm pretty sure we won't be seeing "Niki Rawrrrr" though, because not only is she not a scene queen, she is also the kind of bitch that isn't fun at all. YAY ONLINE DRAMA.

I'm going to go buy a headband at American Apparel now because my hair is jewish. Then I'll get some Vitamin Water. Then I'll be proclaiming myself a scene queen. Bye!

Yes, you heard me right. We have a very small amount of SQHUNT06 buttons made. We only have 5 (count them FIVE, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Cinco) buttons left and if you want to be SUPER SUPER 1337 then you of course would have one of these amazing buttons.

How do you get one? Come up to us at the DC warped and mention the site/ask for one. Only the first 5 will get them so come quick. Our myspace's are in the links at the bottom of the site if you don't already know what we look like.

I just changed the comments so anyone can leave one without being a registered member of Blogger.com because, let's face it, not being able to leave whatever vicious comments you want is gayer than a Panic! At The Disco headlining show after the Dresden Dolls' set.

SO LAST NIGHT or maybe the night before I was imagining what it will be like when we get to Warped and SQHUNT06 beings for realz. I mean, aside from the fact that I'm supposed to meet a ton of different people who aren't MariaCharlotte™, there is also a number of good band to see. That number is 1, obviously. But after we see Meg&Dia what will we do? Will we actually walk around looking for perfect hair amongst the crowd of frizzy, sweaty, or otherwise disgusting hair? I mean, I guess- HEY. I was going to make a FFTL joke but I didn't know if they were even on the tour so I checked the site and umm THE SOUNDS are playing?! Why was I not informed? I've liked them since before they were "READY FOR IT (come on, bring it!)," and you know, now I want to see them. I definitely am mad for skipping a $10 show with them, Morningwood, and Action Action. Srsly. I LIKE GIRLS SINGING.

What was I talking about? Haha oh god I mentioned Meg&Dia again. Okay anyway the point is I'm thinking it'll be pretty weird finding these people. "HEY I SAW UR FACE ON LIVEJOURNAL!!" I mean. Maria, what exactly do SQs talk about? I think everyone's forgetting that I'm not scene at all? As in, I have never even listened to that Fall Out Boy album (the shit one that came after the other shit one?) or dyed my hair, or worn Vans, or know the words to Panic! At The Disco songs (sorry to all you person who loves them, but they are definitely the easiest target in all of "the scene" with the possible exception of Aiden [there was a long-winded joke about Fall Out Boy here but it honestly stopped being funny because it got too ~*~intellectual~*~ and I actually said "Simple logic thus dictates" which is sort of lol-worthy].) I'm tired of this paragraph so lets just leave it at "Adam is not scene at all and anything he knows about anything is thanks to the internetz a girl named Torey."

At this point in time I would like to mention that I am currently at work, so it's not like I regularly type obscenely long blog entries out in my free time. That was a lie. Pretend it wasn't. Hey you know what I'm listening to? The new hellogoodbye. A lot of people told me it was "a disappointment." Except they forgot I wasn't scene, so I haven't been listening to the demos on repeat since a million years ago, and I don't get to say shit like "oh my god they sold out" or "they're such douches now," or anything else you told anyone who would listen when "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out" came out. (P.S. Is that what that album is called? I don't even know for sure but it sounds right.) I personally find the new HGB to be very summery. I don't know if the late-summer release is a marketing failing on their part, or amazing because the last couple weeks of summer are when all the best lying around running around breaking hearts and making out in dark backyards happens. Not that I would know, but I heard a rumor. Or maybe I saw it on the OC. (I only watch it so I can find out about really cool underground bands.) So maybe it's a good release date for it. I'm really glad Maria decided Forest is a scene queen, because now we get to stalk him and I really want to give him a hug because I was told her designed the HGB site himself and it's really cute. Very much reminiscent of Aussie band The Grates' site and style. By the way, the comment about watching the OC for underground music was a joke and if you didn't catch that it's okay because it's the internet and it's hard to pick up on sarcasm.

Scenequeenssss. I want to meet Audrey. Have I said this already? I find her very much impressive. I respect anyone who can take being attractive and make a career out of it. Mind you, she hasn't totally done this yet, but she's working on it. She also does hair apparently, which makes her more than just a pretty, flawlessly made-up face. She can't always spell everything right, but it's okay because it's the internet and we've collectively turned poor spelling into irony and she's obviously just being ironic. I really don't know anything about the other scene queens. I know Jack Marin had some minor thing with Maria where she was basically retarded, but he probably doesn't remember because he's busy being a "fun coordinator" which basically means that he's [insert favorite joke here, regardless of whether or not it fits]. I know Jac takes pictures but I don't know how well she does that. I've heard people say they have the same camera though, that's "pretty LOL." She also lives on the West Coast, correct? Now this other person who's name I absolutely cannot spell for some reason (the girl who hangs with Audrey and is half of the wonderful world of TrashyLife™) seems to umm. Well she must be hardcore because I remember she has a piercing. AND AND AND she's in the site layout. So I really should know what she looks like but I obviously am not updating from the main page so I can't see her. She looks hardcore though. Oh, I said that. Well I'll have to stalkmeet her and form an educated and fair opinion based on actual interaction and not shallow critique of selected, posed photographs publicly released. P.S. When we say stalk, we really just mean talk to and/or find. That's all I ever mean when I say that word, here or otherwise. We're not talking about following people around and taking secret pictures and you know, kidnapping them and cutting them up and putting them into plastic bags in our freezer. Sorry that was graphic. It started when Maria found out that Audrey would be at Warped and basically flipped out over it because idk, she's lame. And then the closer and closer the dates got the more and more scene queens would be there. Finally SQHUNTOHSIX was born.

I like the scene queens, I tried not to at first. I even tried to not be scene. But after finding audrey and not knowing who she was I suddenly liked them, besides the FFTL girls, haha. But thats a diffrent story. I'll explain what this whole thing is on a diffrent day, but its pretty much amazing and you will love us.
